About Mindful Kids Miami
Mindful Kids Miami (MKM) is a non-profit organization serving our community for 13 years with its mission to bring the benefits of mindfulness to children in the Miami-Dade community. We facilitate this intention by providing mindfulness training to adults who serve children such as educators, organizational staff, caregivers, and mentors. By developing their mindfulness practice first, participants begin to embody mindfulness, ultimately benefiting themselves, their professional and personal relationships, and most importantly the children they serve.
The benefits of mindfulness include and are not limited to:
- Improves attention, focus and memory
- Increases self-compassion, self-acceptance, and connection to others
- Reduces stress, depression, and anxiety
