Ancestors Walk With Me is all about gathering and hospitality. We will be offering an experience catered to those who enjoy west african culture. Nigerian food with a twist geared towards our plant based lovers to add some healthier options. At the same time respecting and honoring our foundational roots that were laid in the south. We recognize that a lot of the same foods were used to create similar dishes. That is what we plan to explore with these meals.

On the menu

Okra Stew - A blend of vegtables that usually includes beef or white fish. But instead we will be serving with mushrooms. Okra is one of the main ingredients to add a more hearty base along with the mushrooms.

Nigerian style Fried Rice - Instead of shrimp for this dish we will be using cauliflower as a substitute. First sautéing a corn, carrots and grean bean mixture followed by the cauliflower. Then adding in the yellow rice that compliments the colors making for a delicious but beautiful dish.

Suya - Which is normally a thinly sliced beef seasoned with spices. We will be creating a platbased option that includes lentils and mushrooms. Creating nicely formed patty to be a beef alternative.

Plantain Cobbler - A great way to top of the plate with our infamous and never disappointing desert. You will be coming back for more.

$7 a piece for extras outside of the ticket price

Tickets will be $27 that will cover an entire plate. Beverages will be priced at the bar as normal but a seperate cost as well. We will have light music and vinyl records for sale as an addition.
