About this Event
Join us at the Pioneer Valley Lodge for the Senior's Art Expo on Saturday, May 17, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM (2351 N 400 E, North Logan). Through the Utah Division of Arts & Museums and art instruction of Sarah McNamara, residents created over 100 pieces of artwork. Seniors, age 55 and up, attended weekly fine arts classes in which they studied world renowned artists. They learned about that artist's style and then created their own masterpieces. Famous artists studied were Cassatt, da Vinci, Goya, Michelangelo, Monet, Picasso, Rembrandt, and van Gogh. There will be a special red ribbon cutting event to kick off the event that starts at 2pm. This is a FREE 1.5-hour event that is family-friendly and open to the public. Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be provided by Pioneer Valley Lodge.
