Marquette Regional History Center presents:Senior Support Series: Shipwreck!

Regional author Christian Leathers is a current Great Lakes ship pilot. Join us to hear his story of writing the recently published: The Wreck of the Steamer Superior. The 1856 tragedy took place near the Pictured Rocks lakeshore, and is described in this book along with the fate of passengers she was carrying. Enjoy hearing this true story directly from the author who researched this seldom celebrated wreck. Artifacts on display for this event will help illustrate the tale.
