Senior Summits offers leisure-paced hikes led by experienced guides, perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors without the rush.This fall, Senior Summits will be exploring a variety of scenic locations in the New River Valley. The first highlight of the season is Pandapas Pond. This 2.9 mile hike will take you on a scenic journey through the varied landscapes of the Brush Mountain in the Jefferson National Forest. The trail winds through peaceful woodlands and follows the boardwalk along Pandapas Pond. Along the way, you'll have opportunities to see native plant life and the occasional wildlife sighting. Transportation and leadership provided.
