Senior Stroll - Scavenger Hunt on the Dequindre CutTuesday, Feb. 25
9-11 a.m.
Join a naturalist for a casual stroll through one of our state parks or local historic areas. For each stroll, we’ll focus on a topic related to natural or cultural history. Wear your walking shoes and dress for the weather – we’ll go out rain, snow or shine! Meet at the location designated in each individual program description.
In February, discover a new way to explore the Dequindre Cut! This scavenger hunt will provide picture and/or written clues for finding interesting details, both big and small, along the Cut. We will travel a total distance of 1 mile out and back to the Outdoor Adventure Center, beginning at the front door of the facility. Most of the trail is paved, with some graded slopes at the Franklin Street crossing and some rougher pavement on Franklin.
This is an outdoor event held rain or shine; please dress for the weather.
Preregistration required. This is a free outdoor event.
