Colin Looby, a senior from Fredericksburg, Virginia, is pursuing the Bachelor of Science in music with vocal music emphasis. In addition to opera arias by Handel and Verdi, he will sing French songs from the 19th-20th centuries as well as selections from Gilbert and Sullivan operettas and Disney productions. The highlight of the recital will be his performance of the rarely heard "Weihnachtslieder"(Christmas Songs) Op. 8, by German composer, Peter Cornelius. Looby is a student of Dr. Gregory Parker.
