Senior People Professionals Network in Northern Ireland: Re-launch

CIPD’s Director of Profession, David D’Souza will facilitate our conversations around “Insights for 2025”. We will discuss what is on the People Agenda for the New Year and look at what resources are available/ needed to maximise our impact in 2025. As many organisations are discussing transformational change (digital, developmental or design) we will kick off with these topics in mind.

What is the Senior People Professionals Network?

Overview

The CIPD Senior Professionals Network (SPPN) in Northern Ireland is designed to bring together senior people professionals to discuss topical issues, share and learn from experiences, provide networking and access peer-to-peer support. You will also hear more about our insight from the CIPD public policy and research agendas, valuable membership resources and learn more about routes to professionalisation for you or your teams.

We will facilitate a discussion between senior people professionals about the challenges and successes that they are experiencing, including facilitated breakout discussions, and the opportunity to feedback to shape the future of the network.

Who is the CIPD Senior People Professionals Network in Northern Ireland for?

This network is for NI-based people professionals in senior roles, with responsibilities for strategy and management. These roles could include Head of L&D, Senior HR Business Partner, OD&D Manager, People Director.

To join the network, we are asking members to complete a short online questionnaire* so that we can find out more about their role, level of responsibility, and interests.

*We aim to ensure the integrity of the network remains relevant to those who attend. Therefore, we will be vetting members to ensure the content is delivered to the right levels of experience and expertise. The network is open to both CIPD and non-CIPD Members. If you have previously joined this network, you do not need to fill in the questionnaire.

Objectives of the Senior Professionals Network

• Build relationships and network with other senior people professionals
• Find out about different sources of support for senior people professionals – where to find it and how to access it
• Be part of a supportive network of like-minded individuals where you can talk openly in a safe environment
• Get advice and ideas from others and the CIPD
• Develop your current career and re-connect with CIPD

1. Reminder emails will be sent to you the day before, with a further reminder on the day of the event.
2. Photography and video production may be taking place at the event, and these images may be used in the CIPD newsletters.
