Seniors from Northeast Ohio are invited to Derby Downs Thursday, August 19 for the Legacy Motors of Akron Senior Day presented by Western Reserve Hospital, Western Reserve Hospital Senior Coalition and Danbury Senior Living.From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. seniors will enjoy health informational booths, health screenings and a trip down Derby Downs in an adult Soap Box Derby car.
Lunch will be served between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Race times will be assigned to help ensure everyone has minimal wait and an enjoyable time.
Tickets are available at Soap Box Derby Headquarters, sebiorday.soapboxderby.org and at AAA Akron Auto Club located at 100 Rosa Parks Dr.
