About this Event
Parent & Carer Drop-In: Support, Advice & Connection
Join us for a relaxed and welcoming drop-in session designed for parents and carers of children with disabilities.
This informal space is hosted by experienced practitioners from the Children with Disabilities Team (CWDT), offering guidance, practical advice, and emotional support tailored to your family’s needs.
Whether you have a specific question, need help navigating services, or simply want to talk to someone who understands, you are welcome to come along at any time during the session.
Alongside professional support, this drop-in also provides an opportunity to meet and connect with other parents and carers who share similar experiences. Building relationships with others can help reduce isolation, offer reassurance, and create a valuable support network.
What you can expect:
- Friendly, informal advice from experienced staff
- A listening ear in a safe, non-judgemental environment
- Opportunities to meet and connect with other parents
- Information about local services and support available
There’s no set agenda — just a supportive space where you can drop in, have a chat, and take away what you need.
You are not alone — come along, connect, and be supported.
