We are pleased to welcome Jan Van Maren in Calgary for a three-day protection seminar. ABOUT JAN:
Jan Van Maren is a familiar figure within the IGP community. As a father of one (with another on the way) and a manager during the day, he volunteers all his spare time to his local club, where he serves as a helper.
Since becoming a helper in 2008, Jan has performed helper work in various international, national and regional events. Notably, in 2017, his skill as a front half helper at the WUSV gained attention for his ability to apply precise pressure, both physically and mentally, on the dogs.
Jan is currently holding a position similar to that of a "Teaching Helper" in Canada, teaching and certifying helpers in his region.
⚠️We are opening two days (Saturday and Sunday) for helpers (maximum three per day) to join us and enhance their trial helper skills under Jan's guidance.
Please note that all helpers MUST have valid GSSCC membership and provide their dogs to work with.
