The transition from Excellent to Master in AKC Scent Work is a big and sometimes scary jump. This seminar willdiscuss new challenges posed by the Master odor division. The skills, tools, and techniques for success at this level
will be reviewed. Topics will include blank areas, threshold hides, elevation, inaccessible hides, time management
and search area evaluation. Working teams will have the opportunity to try out their teamwork on searches
emphasizing these Master level skills.

the scent work world is an 8-year-old Labrador named Gryffindor. She and Gryffie became just the 5th team in
Arizona to earn the AKC Detective title earlier this year.
