Our Semi Pro Team is a 5 month professional path training in Afro Latin Dance, focusing heavy on Salsa on 2 Mastery. Completing one of our semi pro trainings prepares you to audition and get hired to dance on any professional salsa company; including our very own ORO Dance Company. Semi Pro Curriculum includes:
- Salsa on 2 (Shine + Partnering) stages 1-4 syllabus
- Salsa foundational technique
- Styling, spinning, frame and partner connection technique
- Afro Cuban movement
- How to teach a salsa class
Season Runs February - end of June
Dance piece choreography style: Salsa On 2
Performances will be local Austin socials
with an optional congress performance Raza Dance Festival in Arkansa Aug 11-13, 2023
