Your guide Meghan will point out her favorite Impressionism Artists as she takes you through the different key artists in this dynamic modern art movement. You will enjoy seeing several works by Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassatt, Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, Vincent van Gogh, Degas, and more. And learn what defines their style within the impressionism art movement.
Our tour will include artworks from various points of time within this art movement. These women and men emerged as rogue cutting-edge painters who did not confirm traditional values. These artists broke boundaries by joining the suffrage movement, refusing to conform to the Salon establishment, and changing societal norms.
Requirements
This is a walking tour, please wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Masks are required unless the Museum says it is optional.
Price $30.00 per person.
How to Join
Please meet your guide inside at the information desk at the Constitutional and 6th Street Entrance. This is the entrance that is on the opposite side of the mall. There is a coat check office and cafe at this entrance. Once you have registered for the tour you will be sent an email with all necessary information and details about our cancelation policy.

Meet Your Tour Guide | Christine Phillips
Christine Phillips is excited to be your guide on your next tour. Her undergraduate studies included four semesters of art history and a minor in Art Studies, where she helped install an outsider artist exhibition. Christine received her Master of Architecture degree from the NC State University College of Design and practiced architecture here in Washington, DC. She is a Washington National Cathedral docent and a licensed DC tour guide with architecture and history tour experience.
Her passion for art goes back to childhood and spending time in museums has always been inspiring for her. Whether in architecture or paintings, she loves to understand the story behind the art she is seeing and share that story with her guests.
