Dok nas sve češće tjeraju na šutnju, pokornost i disocijaciju, namećući norme koje nas podređuju sili ugnjetavača—mi biramo dodir.Na glavnom zagrebačkom trgu, gdje se sile moći generacijama susreću i sukobljavaju, gdje se na pozornici smjenjuju političari, sportaši, estradnjaci, molitelji i turisti, donosimo afektivnu intervenciju. Osjet i dodir stavljamo u prvi plan—kao feministički čin pobune, otpora i prisnosti.
Naše živote oblikuju brojne asimetrije—rodne, klasne, rasne, statusne—koje nam silom određuju mjesto. U kući, na ulici, u obitelji, na poslu, u društvu. Iz tog prostora, kroz taktilnu i osjetilnu mobilizaciju, danas biramo utjeloviti prkos i užitak. Nismo ovdje da trpimo. Nismo ovdje da nestanemo.
Ovdje smo da se čujemo, upijamo, milujemo.
Šestog četvrtog nećemo kuvat ručkove, brisat prašinu, vodit unuke u šetnju—iako je kamen 'ladan, a vrag došao po svoje. Pozivamo drugarice i suborkinje, kao i sve one koji rezoniraju s ovim pozivom, da nam se pridruže u tom izboru.

Performans Milovanje selme banich i Nikoline Butorac praizveden je u sklopu izvedbenog programa projekta Vidljive, u kustoskoj koncepciji Ane Škegro (MSU, Zagreb). Međuinstitucionalni projekt i izložba Vidljive nastao je u suradnji MSU Zagreb, MMSU Rijeka, Umjetničke galerije Dubrovnik, Muzeja likovnih umjetnosti Osijek i Galerije umjetnina Split.
Performans Milovanje u Zagrebu ostvaruje se uz podršku udruge Domino. Pozivamo sve zainteresirane da prije ili nakon performansa posjete izložbu Kapitalocen vs. “Zemlja je naša ljubavnica!” iz ciklusa izložbi Prekasno je za odustajanje o povijesti feminističkog performansa u Hrvatskoj, u Muzej grada Zagreba.

As we are increasingly pushed into silence, obedience, and dissociation, with norms imposed upon us that subordinate us to the power of the oppressor—we choose touch.
In the main square of Zagreb, where forces of power have met and clashed for generations, where politicians, athletes, entertainers, worshippers, and tourists take turns on the stage, we bring an affective intervention. Sensation and touch take center stage—as a feminist act of rebellion, resistance, and intimacy.
Our lives are shaped by numerous asymmetries—of gender, class, race, and status—that violently dictate where we belong. At home, on the street, within the family, at work, in society. From this space, through tactile and sensory mobilization, today we choose to embody defiance and pleasure. We are not here to endure. We are not here to disappear.
We are here to be heard, to absorb, to caress.
On the sixth of April, we will not cook lunches, dust the shelves, or take the grandchildren for a walk—although the stone is cold, and the devil has come for his own. We invite all comrades and fellow fighters, as well as all those who resonate with this call, to join us in this choice.

The performance Milovanje by selma banich and Nikolina Butorac was premiered as part of the performance program of the project Vidljive (The Visible Ones), conceived by curator Ana Škegro (MSU, Zagreb). The inter-institutional project and exhibition Vidljive was created in collaboration by MSU Zagreb, MMSU Rijeka, Umjetnička galerija Dubrovnik, Muzej likovnih umjetnosti Osijek, and Galerija umjetnina Split.
The performance Milovanje in Zagreb is realized with the support of the Domino association. We invite all interested to visit the exhibition Kapitalocen vs. “Zemlja je naša ljubavnica!” from the exhibition cycle Prekasno je za odustajanje on the history of feminist performance in Croatia, at the Museum of the City of Zagreb, before or after our performance.
💥 selma banich (1979., SFRJ) je umjetnica, aktivistkinja, organizatorica zajednice i praktičarka ekspresivne art terapije iz Zagreba. Njezina je umjetnička praksa utemeljena u procesualnom, istraživačkom i aktivističkom radu, a politički je nadahnuta anarhizmom i feminizmom. Stvara samostalno i u suradnji s drugim umjetnicama_ima, kustosi_ca_ma, zajednicama i inicijativama na Balkanu, u Europi i SAD-u. Duboko posvećena feminističkoj, antifašističkoj, migrantskoj i radničkoj borbi, aktivno sudjeluje u lokalnim i transnacionalnim inicijativama solidarnosti, uključujući Zagreb grad-utočište, Solidarityline Balkans i Za KRUH.

💥 Nikolina Butorac (1986., Zagreb)
2012. diplomirala je na Odsjeku za animirani film i nove medije, smjer Novi mediji, pod mentorstvom prof. Andreje Kulunčić. Od 2010. sudjeluje na brojnim skupnim izložbama i festivalima, te u performativnim projektima i umjetničkim radionicama. Koristeći elemente angažirane umjetnosti, stvara oaze ravnopravnih interakcija, u kojima nas različitosti nadopunjuju i oplemenjuju. Važno joj je uključiti odabranu, ali i slučajnu publiku, istražiti granice individualnog i kolektivnog, fizičkog i efemernog, mobilnog i fiksnog. 2015. odlazi na rezidencijalni boravak u Finsku, gdje radi društveno angažirani projekt, instalaciju od biljaka u javnom prostoru grada Raume. 2021. sudjeluje na grupnoj izložbi u galeriji Myymälä2, u Helsinkiju, povodom događaja Relational Art Week, s video radom: Vjerojatnost napora/The Probability of Effort. 2022-2024. ostvaruje kolaboraciju s umjetnicom Gail Hocking (Australija), te izlažu zajednički rad; Erozija budućih sjećanja, u Adelaidu, galeriji FeltSpace. 2024. dobiva financiranje fundacije Gwaertler grant, za multimedijalni, društveno angažirani projekt istraživanja mentalnog zdravlja kod mladih “Pokretna osnaženja/Moving Horizons; Mental state of time”.

💥 selma banich (b. 1979, Yugoslavia) is an artist, activist, community organizer, and expressive arts therapy practitioner from the Balkans. Her artistic practice is grounded in explorative, process-driven, and activist work, and is politically inspired by anarchism and feminism. selma has worked both independently and in collaboration with other artists, curators, communities, and initiatives across the Balkans, Europe, and the US. Deeply committed to feminist, anti-fascist, migrant, and workers’ struggles, she actively participates in local and transnational solidarity initiatives, including Zagreb Solidarity City, Solidarityline Balkans, and For BREAD.
💥 Nikolina Butorac (1986, Zagreb)
She is a socially engaged and climate artist. In her artistic activity, she re-examines her responsibilities towards social and environmental events surrounding her, with a current interest in the possibilities of overlapping individual and collective experiences. Using elements of engaged art, she creates oases of equal interactions, in which differences complement and enrich us. She includes a selected but also random audience to explore the boundaries of the individual and the collective, the physical and the ephemeral, the mobile and the fixed.
Butorac has undertaken residencies in Finland, Rauma (2014), where she created a participatory installation of herbs in collaboration with elementary school children. In 2016, she participated in the Art Research Lab Ars Kozara in BIH with the conceptual land art installation "A Moment Now." She collaborated with Australian artist Gail Hocking, exhibiting a project called Erosions of Future Memories in Adelaide, the FeltSpace gallery, and the CEKAO gallery in Zagreb in 2022.
In 2024, she got the Gwaertler grant for the multimedia, a socially engaged research project on mental health and assertiveness among young people, “Moving Horizons: Mental State of Time”.
