There are two SELMA 2 MONTGOMERY events in 2025 — I’ve been to both and IMHO, by far, the one put on by the CRRS is the better organized and historically respectful of the two. I applaud the MBC but it is a majority Euro centered organization, hosting the ride every five years, while the acclaimed CRRS honors this significant historical event in American History by hosting an event every year and the turn out is amazing, the meet and greet is amazing. The organization of both events is similar in terms of accommodations and transport. My recommendation is the CRRS, because I felt the dedication to the culture and both the understanding of and respect for the ancestral legacy Choose for yourself. Bloody Sunday was March 7, 1865.
