Please bring along a thin blanket or baby mat to put on the scales for your baby to lie on.
An opportunity to check your baby’s weight as well as talk to staff from the Family Support Service on a variety of health promotions and parenting support topics.
The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health recommend weighing your baby /toddler at specific times by the time your child is 2.5 years.
Please access the Family Centre self-weigh stations to check your baby’s progress at 16 weeks, 20 weeks, 8 months and 12 months.

We will ring you before your appointment to ensure that you get the most out of it and to talk you through some important safety measures.

Please remember to bring a pen and paper so you can note down your baby's weight before transferring this information into your red book.
Venue information:
Centre is clearly marked from local main roads.
There is no parking on site for service users. Local residential roads have space for parking outside of key pick up times for school children.
Access to the centre is clearly signposted on site.There is a buggy park just opposite the front door to the centre.
There are 4 toilets in the building plus a baby change facility.
