About this Event
Are you a new or aspiring entrepreneur? Do you want to get a freelance or gig going to support yourself? This interactive workshop with Angelina Jimenez, an accountant who works with nonprofits and entrepreneurs, helps aspiring freelancers and gig workers identify marketable skills, set competitive pricing, and manage the financial side of their gig business. Participants will learn how to set clear financial goals, track income and expenses, create flexible budgets, and build an emergency fund. The session also emphasizes the importance of separating personal and business finances and staying tax-ready for long-term success.
From the host: I am a contract accountant with over a decade of experience supporting solo entrepreneurs, small businesses, and nonprofits through flexible, results-driven financial services. I manage end-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting, helping clients stay organized and tax-ready. Through my gig-based accounting practice, I’ve developed efficient systems and standard operating procedures that streamline workflows and improve financial visibility. I want to make accounting fun and easy for all!
