About this Event
Groceries? Pet supplies? Electronics? Savings in this economy?! Late-stage capitalism sucks. At our November 25 workshop, learn the couponing game and take a bite out of corporate profits. We'll review various types of digital deals including coupons, apps and loyalty programs. A digital “toolkit” of sites and apps will be provided along with examples of their utility for real-life purchases. Bring your smartphone and/or tablet to try tools out in real time!
For this workshop, masks are required by our host; bring your own or use one of the provided masks.
About the host: Ember obtained a BS in Accounting from CSU Chico and has worked over a decade in the accounting department of an employee owned company. Their couponing lessons started with Ember’s grandparents mailing physical coupons to their parents. They learned more as they took on many shopping duties for their mom's household. They refined their techniques during post-college unemployment and expanded them over time to what they are today, meaning Ember is coming from a very real and experienced place in teaching this workshop.
About the series: ASATTCI is proud to offer a self-suffiency skill-building workshop series! Join us on the 4th Tuesday of every month for a free opportunity to gain hands-on skills in the spirit of mutual aid and community-building.
