About this Event
Self Portrait: Learning Self Representation (Kids Art Class) (Ages 6-12)
Join us at The Garage Cultural Arts Center for our 6-session self-portrait drawing class for kids, where students will explore the art of capturing their own likeness. Through guided lessons on proportion, shading, and facial anatomy, they will develop essential skills in self-representation. Learning to draw a self-portrait is more than just an art exercise—it's a journey of self-discovery, boosting confidence and creativity. This course encourages students to see themselves in a new light and express their unique identities through art. We will have a end of class ceremony for all of our artists where they can showcase their work to the community. Students participating in our 3 week course will receive a special certification of completion.
