About this Event
Self portrait as a Poet - How do we frame ourselves in our work? How do we recognise bit of us in the world around us? This workshop explores how we portray ourselves in poems, how we can highlight our better or worse features and let those bits of ourselves that don’t feel that poetic inform our writing practice. Your workshop leader is Ben Macpherson is a Nottingham based writer and performer with credits including BBC Radio 2, 4 Extra and local radio stations. Ben’s writing explores community, narrative and otherness with a wry playfulness that is highly adaptable for all ages.
