The vagus nerve is one of the body’s most fascinating pathways — a vital link between brain and body that plays a central role in regulating stress, digestion, heart rate and emotional balance. When the vagus nerve is supported and functioning well, we feel calmer, more resilient and more connected. When it’s under strain, we can experience anxiety, fatigue, poor sleep, and a sense of being “stuck” in survival mode.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the function of the vagus nerve in accessible, everyday language, before moving into simple, yoga-based movements and breath practices designed to stimulate and soothe this powerful system. You’ll learn practical tools you can take away and use at home to support your nervous system, ease tension, and restore a greater sense of wellbeing.
No prior yoga experience is required — just curiosity and a willingness to try gentle practices. Whether you’re interested in reducing stress, improving health, or deepening your mind-body connection, this session offers practical insight into how you can work with your own nervous system for better balance.
