ROCK EUPORAClayton Waller, the Mississippi-raised, Nashville-based artist known as Rock Eupora, creates a heartfelt blend of gritty rock and shimmering pop. Since 2014, Waller has developed his fuzz pop sound with 5 full-length albums, three EPs, and a smattering of singles which he has written, performed, and produced himself. The new album REV grew out of the last few years of heartbreak, hope, and the slow work of becoming whole. These songs lean into the mystery of how suffering can lead to joy, how trust can be rebuilt, and how faith can feel like letting go. Its an honest look at living authentically against the oddGOLD CONNECTIONSGold Connections is a New Orleans-based indie band composed of cousins Will Marsh and Fraser Wright. They meld guitar-driven rock with existential lyrics and ambient textures. Music for crying in the car. RAINSTICKSAfter soaking for a number of years in the highly communal Nashville garage rock scene of the 2010s Asher Horton formed Rainsticks with a shifting group of friends to release their debut LP Elkmont in 2018 which drew from a slew of jangle rock influences from The Byrds and Tom Petty to The Clean and 80s era R.E.M. From that launching point theyve carved out a niche for themselves as fine purveyors of power pop when Asher isnt moonlighting with other acts - most notably Sun Seeker and Twen. After the LP October Onwards in 2020 they returned with what may be their defining moment - 2023s Here Come The Warm Jets which is stylistically positioned somewhere between Laurel Canyon and Athens, GA. Following a move in 2024 the band is now operating out of the beautiful city of New Orleans, LA with members of Lawn and Big Leather.
