A tie in with the seminal @philstudio_performing_arts this is the first of many!
Yes it is an open mic comedy show and there has been countless in the circuit but we have one distinct feature; and that is to have a unique projection / image of each and every one of our performers!
Usually a component reserved for the bigger shows and with no disrespect to the stellar A-listers, this project aims to accomplish these things
- to encourage a seriousness in open mic comedy and presentation
- by opening a grandeur stage supported by high calibre technical assets as well as a gigantic LED screen
Imagine yourself taking the mic, on that open stage with an entire backdrop dedicated to you and you only.
The world is watching.
The stage is yours.
Give us the mighty showperson you were born to be!!!!

Well that's the idea.
True to open mic and community building impulses this project also welcomes other open mic platforms and collaborators to the space!
Yes, we at @hardcorehumourcomedy do not indulge in nepotism and competition with other standup comedy / open mic ventures.
Like the punkrock saying goes; CO-OPERATE NOT COMPETE!
PS: we are also looking at local and international ska / pop punk acts to work with us; it can be as simple as us posting your songs alongside our flyers!
