For this special event, Selected Stories will take a collection of written stories and pair them with voices of the North Country to be read aloud at our next gathering.
The theme for the December 4th 2024, event will be Holiday Stories! Whether it’s tales of snowy adventures, heartwarming gatherings, festive mishaps, or the magic of the season, we want to hear your holiday-themed stories!
Story Guidelines:
Stories must be under ten pages in length, double-spaced.
Stories may be fiction or nonfiction. Any literary genre except poetry is welcome.
Stories cannot be submitted anonymously.
Submission of a story implies consent for the story to be used in future events and for the recording of the reading to be used at the discretion of HarmoNNY.
Note: Story submissions will be paired with readers by the Selected Stories committee. If you would like to suggest a voice reader for the program, please email: [email protected].
Submission Instructions:
If you have a story that fits the theme and guidelines for this event, please submit your story as an email attachment to: [email protected].

Author’s name
Author’s contact phone number and email
Any social media links you’d like us to use should your story be selected
A 5-line (or less) biography of the author OR a 5-line (or less) introduction to the story
