About this Event
Join Chris and Dawn Phillips and the staff of Selah International for two days and nights of powerful teaching, worship, prayer, fellowship, and encouragement at the beautiful Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in downtown Columbia, SC. (A much larger venue for this year's event!)
It will be a time of spiritual recharge for the work of the ministry, a time of growth, accountability, building friendships, encouraging one another, and equipping with biblical counseling tools relevant to the local church and ministry families.
Participate in Men’s and Ladies’ breakout sessions and roundtable discussions dealing with mental health issues, emotional breakdowns, addictions, suffering, counseling our families in a hyper-sexualized culture, and dealing with layers of grief and loss.
Guest Speaker: Dr. Rand Hummel, the director of the Wilds of New England; he has served with the Wilds (NC and NH) for 40+ years! He also has been an adjunct professor in a number of Christian colleges. In addition to speaking to thousands throughout the year, he has authored various books and hosts the Daily Meditations podcast for "teens and teens with wrinkles." You will greatly enjoy Rand's unique approach and will most certainly leave encouraged!
Chris Phillips and the staff and associate counselors for Selah International will also be sharing during our plenary and breakout sessions.
FOR: All pastoral staff and missionaries (men and ladies)
COST: $100 per person — Yes, you read that right! This registration fee covers lodging (double-occupancy: 1 couple or 2 singles per room), great food, spiritual refreshment, counseling helps, hours of fellowship and many resources to take home to use with your church family. Valued at over $350/person, this retreat is heavily subsidized by SICM for you!
