About this Event
Presenter: Kamilah Antoine
Part 1- Participants will learn, explore, and practice Harmony's strategic daily strategies for engaging students in relationship-building activities while creating a safe and caring classroom community. Participants will leave with ready-to-use resources that will expand their toolkit to build authentic connections, and empathy, and empower student voice. Many techniques can be adapted and modified for a variety of student environments and adult learning.
Part 2- Participants will explore knowledge, skills, and mindsets that support social and emotional development and inspirational learning in your classroom or school. Participants will dive into a module that integrates various modalities with a specific focus on student motivation. In the module, Helping Students Believe They Can Achieve, there will be an exploration of ability, self-efficacy, and perceived required effort. In totality, Harmony Professional Learning includes over 80 different modules organized by Learning Environments, Professional Practices, and Family Focus units, all at NO COST.
