Our next burn is coming up on February 14th. If you don’t have anything else planned 🙂 maybe you’d like to join us for an hour (or seven) of worship and prayer in centre of Durham.
We love making this monthly space for the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with the knowledge of Jesus. We gather with expectancy… and in His grace He just keeps coming and bringing us into beautiful face to face encounters. But it’s always with such a sense of awe and wonder… every time we see Him it’s a new thing.
We’re hungry for more and long to press in deeper, and cry out for the overflow of revival in our churches and onto the streets.

Are you wondering what we are all about?
After fifteen years of monthly gatherings, our heart is still to worship Jesus, overflow in intercession, and from that place to overflow into mission.
-- Jesus, Our First Love --
We’re making a space for Jesus to receive the worship of our hearts, to seek Him first because our greatest desire is simply to know Him. If that was all we were doing, it would be enough.
-- Face to face encounter --
We want the people of God to encounter His reality and see His glory. As we give time in worship and to press into His presence, He opens the eyes of our hearts, and we see the beauty of His face.
-- Keeping the fire burning --
We join as a body of many parts to make these extended times possible. As individuals we may only have a short time free, but together over the hours we lift a covering over our city and region… and prepare the way for those who follow.
-- A House of Prayer for all nations --
In this place of encounter, we catch the Father’s heart of compassion - and seeing His greatness our hearts believe all things are possible. It’s an amazing place to intercede for the church and the lost, for our city and nation.
-- Seeking the lost --
Sometimes this will be a springboard for us to make Jesus known in the streets. We may go out in pairs looking for Spirit led divine appointments, or as a larger group to worship and see the atmosphere change, and lives touched as we do.
-- Unity in the church -
We want to be a blessing to the whole body of Christ. We aren’t starting a new church! We honour local church leaders and want everything we do to release blessing back into the wider body.
