Hello thereHope you’ve had a great Christmas break and are looking forward to all God has for you in 2025.
It’s fifteen years (January 16th 2010) since we had our first monthly extended worship and prayer ‘burn’ in Durham. We wanted to see believers from across the body of Christ regularly gathering, in Jesus focused unity, to seek His face in first love / ‘vertical worship’. We knew it would bear fruit in Jesus’ kingdom coming on earth… but more than anything we wanted to offer a pure sacrifice to simply acknowledge that HE IS SO WORTHY.
So we’re gathering again at the start of the year, for worship and intercession, this time on January 18th, Saturday 6PM at Waddington Street URC.
We’re grateful for all the ways the LORD has met with us over the years, but we ‘still haven’t found what we’re looking for’. We’ve tasted of the Lord’s goodness and had our eyes opened to gaze on His beauty. But we know there is so much more: we’ve only just dipped our toes in the Ocean of Who He Is.
So we’re hungry and thirsty and stirred with expectation for all He wants to pour out among us in 2025…
We hope you can join us this month, and this year, to press into God for the more… for yourself, for the church and for the lost.
