About findings:translations
This is an art book with a unique approach to seeing paintings and context. The idea is based on exploring the art of seeing common things in uncommon ways. Designed to be interactive, the book offers visual connections between photographs and Gooden’s paintings.
For more than 20 years, Jeanie Gooden has lived and painted in the Colonial City of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. Other than where noted, images were taken by Jeanie between Central Mexico and the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Jeanie’s full time residence is now in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico.
A portion of the sale of the book supports CASA PICH, an artist enclave in Valladolid, Yucatan, dedicated to supporting and nurturing the indigenous and contemporary arts.
