Seedy Jeezus are a heavy Psych rock power trio from Melbourne, Australia, who will be returning to Europe to play Desert Fest Antwerp in October 2024 alongside Fu Manchu, Russian Circles, Stoned Jesus, Monster Magnet and more… This will be the band’s first time performing at Desert Fest Antwerp, and they can’t wait.
Alongside playing Desert Fest, Seedy Jeezus will be hitting the road to play clubs and bars and anywhere else that they can setup and perform.
2024 will see Seedy Jeezus release its 3rd Studio album and late July, the 2nd Tranquonauts album which will again be with Isaiah Mitchell (Earthless) and also this time Tony Reed (Mos Generator/Big Scenic Nowhere/Pentagram).

Seedy Jeezus formed 9 years ago, and have released 2 full length studio albums, 3 live albums, a collaborative album with Isaiah Mitchell (Earthless) under the name of Tranquonauts, as well as 7” singles and CD e.ps. Seedy Jeezus emerged post Covid (in the most locked down city in the world, Melbourne) and had a party inviting friends over to celebrate the end of the extreme measures placed upon the city and recorded a double live album - The Hollow Earth. This featured older material and new material that will feature on the next studio album.
Since the bands formation they have shared stages with bands such as Green Leaf, Samsara Blues Experiment, Radio Moscow, Earthless, Melvins, Freedom Hawk, Orange Goblin, Blues Pills, and Clutch. In Europe Seedy Jeezus has played Red Smoke Festival, Valkhoff Festival and Freak Valley Festival (Twice). In Australia they’ve played Psyche Out, Brutality, Heavy and Hammered, and Wo Fest amongst others.

Combine the heavy emotion of the blues, the tone and raw power of hard rock, the finesse of soul and a twist of 60's psychedelia. It will give you a visceral musical experience that plays directly to your being. That is CHILD. Living for their art, the pubs, the booze, the endless highways and the blues is what makes this band who they are. Child are a must see for those who are worshippers at “the electric church”. The freedom and power of a live performance is important to CHILD in their approach to music, endeavouring to never perform the same way twice. They look forward to once again bringing this to the world on their continued search for sonic paradise.
Since the release of their runaway self-titled debut in 2014, Child have continued to develop their unique brand of heavy blues through constant writing and extensive national/international touring. The band released the follow-up ‘Blueside’ in December 2016, which builds on this foundation to deliver a disc of pure sonic expression whilst following in the long tradition of the blues. 2018 saw the release of Child's first EP, simply titled 'I'. Recorded live to tape, 'I' is a glimpse into the boundless directions that could be taken on upcoming releases.
