BLOWN MUSIC PRESENTS:Psychedelic mayhem returns to Collingwood - Seedy Jeezus & Non at The Gem Bar
Seedy Jeezus dropped their third studio album Damned to the Depths in June and have been spreading the 70’s-laden psychedelia like wildfire ever since, tearing through Sydney, Newcastle, Geelong, Castlemaine, Hobart, Launceston, and Melbourne (more than once). They’ve shared the stage with their cosmic comrades Earthless, The Neptune Power Federation, Spooky Eyes, and Goat Rodeo leaving behind a haze of feedback, sweat, and satisfied grins.
But somehow…they still haven’t hit The Gem Bar in Collingwood! That changes December 13. Expect no frills, no fluff, just a straight-ahead, sweaty Seedy Jeezus throwdown. It’s the last gig of the year, and they’ll be in the thick of recording another album. Translation: anything could happen. They’ll play the favourites, maybe a few deep cuts, and possibly a song they don’t even know yet.
Joining the chaos are good mates Non, a killer band that sounds like Om, Church of Misery, and Earthless had a jam in a lava lamp. It’s going to be a night of guitar worship, fuzz-soaked jams, and pure psychedelic mayhem.
