Help us celebrate the upcoming Earth Day with our Seeds and Soil program! We’ll have everything you need to grow this summer—pots, dirt, and seeds. Each child will be allowed up to three growing pots filled with dirt, and they can select from a wide range of seeds to be planted while at the library and taken home. There will be educational resources and posters on hand to help children (and their parents) understand the processes that turn a dormant seed into a productive plant. Ken, our Seed Librarian, will be available to answer any questions regarding our Seed Library or gardening in general. Join us in the Meeting Rooms at the Bennett Civic Center Library for this free event!
