Seed to Table | Natural Ponds & Eco-landscapes With Arianna Lappini
PROGRAM:
Join Arianna, an Edible Ecosystem Educator and Designer for a discussion about creating natural ponds. In this session, participants gather to learn the art and science of creating ecosystems through pond construction. The workshop begins with an overview of the essential elements of a healthy pond, including water, algae control, and native plant selection. Through interactive discussions, participants discover the ecological importance of ponds and their role in wildlife habitat creation. By the end of the class, students not only gain practical skills but also a deep appreciation for sustainable practices that foster harmony with nature.
SPEAKER BIO:
Arianna is an edible ecosystem educator and designer. While growing up on her grandparent’s 27 acre farm in New Hampshire, she learned the art of caring and growing beautiful nutrient-rich gardens. Her business, Birch Arbor Gardens, mission is to design and refresh beautiful edible gardens of offer ongoing support to continue growing your knowledge in the garden from seed to table. She works to dispel the myth of the black thumb and believes everyone can grow a bountiful garden!
