About this Event
Local educator, gardening enthusiast and DGC Sprout parent, Katie Brazee will share how she starts hundreds of seeds for her family’s garden every year!
We will explore everything you need to know to get your garden started this season. We'll learn: What seeds need heat? What seeds need darkness? How early should you plant your seeds? All of this and more will be covered at the meeting.
Each child/family will get a chance to start seeds to make a “pizza garden”
We’ll also start the Sprouts Learning Garden growing season by sowing sweet peas in the garden!
Notes:
All are welcome to attend.
A responsible adult must accompany children.
