About this Event
Learn the tips and techniques for saving your own seeds! Join seed saver Alison Magill for a walk through the Giving Garden at Nooney Farm, 22 Stevenson Road in Kittery ME as we select and gather seeds from many different plants to save for the 2025 growing season.
You will learn to distinguish when seeds are ready to harvest, how to process wet and dry seed, tools of the trade and much more. Meet other gardeners and seed savers, take home seed for yourself and help to replenish the Piscataqua Seed Project's Community Seed Bank!
Attendees should come dressed to spend time in the garden and to participate in this super fun hands on learning experience!
Tickets are by donation. All proceeds go toward funding the seed bank for the 2025 season.
