We are developing a tree nursery in ECOS. With this in mind, a small group of us were busy collecting seeds/nuts on Saturday. We gathered quite a variety - Hazel, Alder, Blackthorn (Sloes) , Elderberries, Rosehips, Acorns and Crab Apples. We will hold a further seed harvesting session on Thursday, 18th September at 12.30pm, meeting at the Sensory Garden, 200m past Slemish Market Garden on the right hand side of the road. Please feel free to come along and help. No experience is required just dress for the weather.
