Make Seed Bombs to help repopulate plants & flowers to fire affected areas!About this Event
Join us on January 24th from 11:30 AM–2:00 PM for a hands-on volunteer event in partnership with the Seed Bomb Project, where volunteers will help create 1,000 seed bombs to support environmental recovery in wildfire-impacted communities across Los Angeles.
was founded by Rummy Goodyear, who was just 14 years old when he lost his home in the January 7, 2025 LA wildfires. Determined to turn grief into action, Rummy brought together friends and peers to create seed bombs—small balls made of native wildflower seeds, clay, and compost—designed to be shared and spread throughout fire-ravaged neighborhoods.
In its first six months, the Seed Bomb Project has distributed more than 3,000 seed bombs to community partners and stakeholders from Altadena to Pacific Palisades, helping restore landscapes and inspire hope through youth-led service.
