Come join us this April for our annual Seed and Plant Swap!Bring your extra vegetable, flower, herb starters, seeds and house plants/clippings to trade with others.
There will be a designated table for starters and seeds for sale for anyone without swaps, otherwise no selling is permitted as we want to make sure it stays trade oriented.
We will be setting up tables to leave your extras while you browse through plants and seeds others have left.
There will be a garden basket raffle that you’ll definitely want to check out, all proceeds go toward this years co-hosts, LRNow, Virginia Beach’s waterway restoration team.
We will also be having some of the areas best eco-friendly garden vendors including:
EverGreen EcoScapes- Tidewaters Ecological landscaping company, working with nature to transform outdoor spaces
Southern Branch Native Nursery-Hampton roads Native plant Growers and Greenhouse
Tidewater Compost- Hamptons roads first residential and
commercial food waste recycling and compost company
Tidewater Master Naturalist- Promoting natural resource conservation in southeastern Virginia
LRNow- Working with residents, businesses, faith communities, schools, and community leaders to restore and protect our Virginia Beach waterways.
Eric's Backyard Nursery- Multi-generational and Local native Trees and Bushes
We will be holding the event at LRNows headquarters, make sure to check out the new office location inside, they’re doing amazing things for our community!
