Alexandre Martin
After modeling as a child and an adult for various brands (Dockers, Vivian Westwood, Printemps Paris etc.), I decided to get behind the camera and learn photography with fashion photographers. I developed a passion for street photography on film (Rolleiflex, Leica) and I am now teaching street photography via workshops and photowalks, in collaboration with the Leica store of Paris. I also learned to shoot and edit video, I set up a small production company called 3troisproduction, and became a photojournalist with the international agency Hans Lucas. I have recently been commissioned to photograph the public life of a small town called Collégien, and I am developing various series on Paris, New York, Brittany and, soon, the American West. My work has been published and exhibited. I am also the co-editor of a zine for medium-format enthusiasts called Rolleizine.
