Join the rangers at St Abb’s Head National Nature Reserve to experience the magic of Grey Seal breeding season! View these amazing marine mammals in their natural habitat, and learn fascinating facts about their lives from our friendly team. You will be able to spot adult male and female Grey Seals, as well as fluffy white-coated pups and, a later in the season, adventurous weaners*!

‘See the Seals’ events are free to attend, but any donation you wish to give will be very gratefully received and contribute towards the important work we do in monitoring, conserving and sharing the incredible nature here at St Abb’s Head NNR. Fancy supporting us long term? It will be possible to sign up for National Trust for Scotland membership at the events - just ask a member of staff or volunteer and we will be happy to help!
It is important that seals remain as undisturbed as possible, especially during the breeding season when every bit of energy is crucial! Please approach bays slowly and quietly, respect fences and signage, and keep dogs on leads at all times across the reserve. Thank you so much.
