About this Event
We need YOU!
Have you or a loved one been impacted by Multiple Sclerosis (MS)? Join us on March 4th to discover how you can spark vital change for the MS community in Chaffee county and beyond.
The Rocky Mountain MS Center is excited to introduce SEE-MS: "Sparking Education and Empowerment in MS." This patient-led awareness campaign aims to increase early diagnosis of MS and connect patients to specialized care across rural Colorado. By attending our March 4th kickoff, you'll gain the knowledge and tools to become an MS awareness advocate in your own circles.
About This Event
Multiple Sclerosis impacts millions of people worldwide, yet awareness remains limited. Everyone has a different story with their disease, and we want each person living with MS to feel fully supported by their community and care team, regardless of where they live. SEE-MS aims to build more awareness of the importance of early diagnosis at the community level, and we hope you join us in this pursuit.
During this launch event we'll give you all the details necessary to play an active role in helping those around you SEE-MS. By equipping you with resources to share with your friends, family, and care teams, you’ll spark awareness around MS within your own community.
Why SEE-MS Matters:
- Millions worldwide have MS, but limited awareness persists, especially in rural areas
- Early diagnosis is crucial, yet many patients face delayed detection and treatment
- Every person with MS deserves to feel fully supported by their community and care team
- You can be part of the solution by raising awareness and connecting others to vital resources
During this casual 1.5 hour event, you'll gain:
- A deeper understanding of the importance of timely diagnosis and MS-specific care
- Resources to educate friends, family, and local healthcare providers about MS
- Connection with fellow MS advocates in a supportive, uplifting environment
This event is free to attend for all those impacted by MS. It is not necessary to bring anything other than your wonderful self and some positive energy! Support partners, care providers, family, and friends are more than welcome to join. Together, we can help more people in your community SEE-MS.
