OutLoud Dallas and the Eisemann Center, in collaboration with Chicago-based artist Ruben Carrazana, are proud to present "See Me," an innovative theatrical performance and exhibition that examines how technology impacts human connection. "See Me" will premiere at the Eisemann Center for the Performing Arts in the Bank of America Theater on Friday, September 27, 2024.This groundbreaking project challenges audiences to ask why stories are important to us, and how technology has shaped the way we share our stories. Viewers are invited to explore what it means to be human in an ever-evolving world as they are immersed in the voices of community members brought to life with cutting edge technology.
“See Me” centers the perspectives of a generation raised with unprecedented access to technology. Young people from across North Texas collaborated with director, Ruben Carrazana, and local artists to share stories through original music, choreography, lighting, holograms and projections.
OutLoud is the 2024 recipient of the Eisemann Edge Initiative grant for the creation of this production. Other leading support was provided by the Eisemann Center, the Communities Foundation of Texas, the City of Richardson, TACA, and the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.
