Downtown Sedalia will transform into a spooktacular scene on Halloween afternoon as families are invited to take part in the city’s annual “Halloween at the Hall” celebration on Friday, October 31, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.Trick-or-treaters can stroll through downtown Sedalia, where participating businesses will be handing out candy to costumed children. Stores taking part in the event will display a special window decal featuring the official event graphic, making it easy for families to identify which locations are part of the fun.
After visiting downtown businesses, families are encouraged to stop by Sedalia City Hall (200 S. Osage Ave.), which will open its doors for a variety of spooky indoor and outdoor activities. Guests can enjoy games, candy stations, music, food trucks, and balloon twisters...and for those feeling brave, the “haunted chambers” of City Hall will be open for an extra fright.
The event is hosted by the City of Sedalia in collaboration with downtown businesses and community partners. Admission is FREE, and all ages are welcome.
