The National Security Social Society and the Association for Defence and Security Studies are excited to invite you to the National Security College's "Securing Your Future" graduate career expo on Monday, September 30th.

In this full-day event combining presentations, breakout sessions, career booths, and networking, you'll get an introduction to the National Intelligence Community, hear from NIC insiders about the diverse range of career paths on offer, and gain valuable insight into what the agencies are looking for from the next generation of national security professionals.

For our keynote presentation we're honoured to be joined by Ms. Abigail Bradshaw, current Head of the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC). Ms. Bradshaw has previously worked within the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C), most recently as the Deputy Coordinator of the National Bushfire Recovery Agency. Prior to that, she was the head of the National Security Division, providing advice and coordinating proposals to the Prime Minister, his office and the National Security Committee (NSC) on key national security issues. She has also held senior roles in the Department of Home Affairs, leading offshore resources covering Europe and Sub Saharan Africa, and as the Department’s inaugural Chief Risk Officer. Ms. Bradshaw began her career in the Royal Australian Navy and was awarded the Conspicuous Service Cross in 2005. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Asian Studies.

Who: All participants must be Australian citizens. This event is open to all students interested in, and eligible to, work in intelligence and security in the Australian public service

Pricing: Tickets for general entry are $20. For registered members of the NSSS or ADSS, tickets are $15.
