About this Event
As a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, the Catena Network is honoured to host an event designed to connect Veteran entrepreneurs and business people to a trusted and supportive network, as well as highlighting the benefits to businesses of finding out more about the Armed Forces Covenant.
This session we will be joined by “Regional Employer Engagement Director, Kirstie Lawrence, will discuss the Armed Forces Covenant and why such a term as ‘covenant’ should not deter!
The Covenant is a free and fully tailorable set of non-committal pledges. The document is the gateway to the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
This scheme presents a framework to structure, steer and guide a comprehensive understanding of Defence people’s diverse skills, talents and competencies which make them an ideal fit across many sectors and levels of expertise which you may not have considered. The goal of the scheme is to champion great talent, enable its full use in civilian employment and champion the organisations that support it! This open discussion guarantees to explore and dispel a number of myths and preconceptions!”
As usual the session will be chaired by Mike Butler, giving the opportunity for all attendees to share their experiences, business updates and intelligence.
Please arrive online 10 minutes before the event begins this will give you time to load the Zoom app and to ensure you will have a device with a microphone and webcam, before being welcomed by our technical host.
