It was during that process that we started talking to Johnetta Langston. She is the Lead Housing Coordinator for the City of Chattanooga Office of Homelessness and Supportive Housing.
This organization works as a middleman between you and section 8, speeding up the process, and the best part? Johnetta actually RESPONDS quickly when you need to reach her.
What's the most common complaint about section 8? You can't reach them. Can't understand the program. To difficult to work with and on and on.
I told Johnetta she had to come and give a presentation to our group to clear up these misconceptions!
She is going to give us a crash course discussing the city's programs, how they work, and Section 8 as a whole.
This is a can't-miss event if you are a landlord. Even if you don't plan to take Section 8, level up your education on this topic!

This event is FREE, as always, except for parking and any food purchases. Parking can be TIGHT, as is the usual case in Chattanooga. Look along Main St, Passenger St, Wilhoit, or other streets nearby.
