Trenton City Museum Invites You!Secrets of the Region's Stained Glass
With Journalist and Writer Dan Aubrey
Sunday, April 6; 2 -4 pm
Free admission for Trenton Museum Society Members; $5 at the door for non-TMS members
Artistically important stained glass in Trenton and Princeton (including the glass shown from the Canticle of St. Francis in Trinity Church Princeton), a regional stained-glass movement, New Jersey’s claim to stained glass history, the fall of Tiffany, and the overlooked presence of New Jersey woman stained-glass artists are just some of the colorful topics in this springtime presentation by Dan Aubrey, who has been conducting research and studies on this revered – yet often overlooked – art form for over a decade.
This is the third in a series of three talks by Dan Aubrey on hidden aspects of local history. Aubrey is the former arts editor of U.S. 1 newspaper, a past writer for the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and New Jersey State Museum, and a member of the Trenton Museum Society exhibition committee.
