📣VENUE CHANGE📣Due to an unexpected issue, Secrets Lie Beyond will no longer be performing at the DeKalb Area Women's Center for our first weekend of performances.
Generously, CCT of DeKalb County has lent us their space to continue ahead with our first weekend of performances.
Performances are now taking place at CCT's Space (1600 E. Lincoln Highway, DeKalb Illinois, Entrance C) on
Friday November 14th, and Saturday November 15th.
There will now be no Sunday performance.
Lightbeam Players is proud to present the world premiere of our original musical, Secrets Lie Beyond.
A two act musical with 27 original songs performed by a cast aged 9 to 19.
Secrets Lie Beyond follows the story of a boy named Silas, set a year after his mother's disappearance.
When signs from his mother start to appear, he sets out to find her.
His journey takes him to the Forest of the Fae, a place where magic thrives and mortals die. Along the way, Silas meets a strange boy named Wally, a kid who has no memories of his own.
Stuck together in a world with more questions than answers, they team up to find Silas's mom and Wally's memories, all while on the run from an evil Emperor out for revenge.
The first weekend of performances are being held at CCT's space (1600, E. Lincoln Highway) on November 14th and November 15th at 7PM.
Performances are free to attend but there is a $5 recommended donation.
