As a part of the Elemental Festival 2021, Papaya Stories brings the Secret Party Brand New Experience to Tamaki Makaurau!Instead of being told to meet at a specific time and place, for this Secret Party, you’ll discover the location as you go – just like a treasure hunt, but the treasure is the party.
Combining the philosophy of Pick-a-Path games with a dash of Alice in Wonderland, this little escapade will also serve as a reminder that life isn't just about the destination, it's the journey.
So take a tumble down a rabbit hole as you search for the party, moving from one location to another, observing, collecting clues and interacting with everyday objects as you detect your destination.
Once you have the secret code and location revealed, it will unlock the door to the Secret Party where you can witness a Silent Disco DJ battle, dance to pop-up musical entertainment and mix and mingle with like-minded fun-seekers.
Add glow-in-the-dark painting activities to the mix, and you’ll revel in this fresh way to have fun.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
You can join the party anytime from 7pm - 10.30pm. Please allow 15-20 minutes for the city quest part when collect the clues, password to guess the party destination.
When you purchase your ticket, the time of your Secret Party adventure is confirmed, allowing 15-20 minutes to discover the location and allows one hour access to the Secret Party where you can enjoy special entertainment, music, fun drawing activities.
To ensure the city quest experience is an immersive mystery unfolding in front of your eyes, we take an extra care about how to make it work. Therefore we allocate 30 people maximum per 15 minutes sessions. When you are going to place the booking and select the time slot, you're also choosing the starting time for your party quest part.
When you book, ensure you leave your correct contact details then, a week before the party, you’ll be sent the coordinates for one of two meeting points. There you’ll be given a map, codes, and tips to guide you on your Secret Party quest.
